A benefit for
Charlotte Maxwell
City Model Management Inc. and The Barber Lounge have joined forces to bring to you a new event called BuzzOff, benefiting the
Free massage, acupuncture, herbs, counseling and organic foods support these women in completing their conventional cancer treatments while also providing critical relief from the side effects of chemo, radiation and surgery.
WE NEED YOU
If you've ever wanted to really make a difference but never had the lungs or legs for a marathon, this could be your event. We are looking for participants, or Buzzees, willing to buzz their heads in solidarity with those undergoing chemotherapy in the fight against breast cancer. Similar to a marathon, our Buzzees will raise money by collecting sponsorships from friends and family members.
THE EVENT
This may be the coolest party you'll attend all year, and all proceeds go directly to
You will be greeted at the door by and mingle with some of City Model's hottest models. Throughout the evening, cool beats will be playing as Buzzees sit beneath the clippers in the main room. The barber lounge staff will be on hand offering services such as manicures and massages. We will be offering drinks and healthy snacks. San FranPsycho will be in house printing t-shirts live, and there will be a silent art auction... or you can just sit back and watch the shavings!

WHY YOU SHOULD DO THIS
We will pamper you. You, other Buzzees, and any of the guests who have undergone chemo, will be treated like royalty for the evening. We will massage you, have an optional makeover by a professional makeup artist, feature you in a photo-shoot, and you will receive gifts from our sponsors...
But more importantly...This event will be a life changing experience for you. Unlike many other fundraisers, we will give directly to an organization that gives to breast cancer fighter and survivors themselves... not a large corporation conducting research or animal testing, but women in the bay area... our neighbors. You will meet some of these brave women at the event and hear their stories. Their thank you's will stay with you long after your hair grows back.
Pledge your solidarity to our friends and family members living with breast cancer and wear it like a badge of honor.
